Longmeadow Plows Over Fitchburg In Super Bowl

Longmeadow beat Fitchburg in the Central/Western Massachusetts Division 1 Super Bowl on a cold and snowy afternoon by a score of 35-21. Longmeadow earned a narrow 14-13 lead at halftime. The Lancers outscored the Red Raiders 21-8 in the second half.

Fitchburg Red Raiders Onto Super Bowl

Fitchburg High School won their annual grudge match versus Leominster on Thanksgiving Day. One of the oldest rivalries in the country, Fitchburg bested Leominster in their 125th meeting by a score of 20-17 in overtime. This was only the second time in that this game was decided in overtime.
