I am an entrepreneur, husband, father, coach, teacher and enthusiast for many things including politics, sports, outdoors, cooking and more. I like to lead an active life and I love to cycle, ski, golf, hike, boat and coach sports.
As an entrepreneur I have been involved with many emerging companies. Currently, I am the CEO of Raptor Sports Properties, where I get to combine my love of business building and sports. I will share some interesting things on this blog about just this. Prior to joining Raptor Sports, I was CEO of Swap.com and President & COO of NameMedia. I am still active and on the BOD of NameMedia. I have also advised several ventures that include Oneforty (acquired by HubSpot), Adtuitive (acquired by ETSY) and others. I started my work on the Internet as an executive at Lycos where I served in many roles that included Vice President of eCommerce and Executive Vice President of Corporate Development.
I believe that we all have an opportunity to learn from each other whether we agree or not. Blogs are great ways to communicate and share and I will dedicate these pages to do just this on this blog. Stimulating dialogue and discussion is what it is all about in this world. It makes us think. It helps us understand each other. It can help make the world better. It is a tall order but that is what my goal is with this blog.
