DailyGrommet Goes Broadway
A couple of years ago I got introduced to this new web site called DailyGrommet. The products were interesting. The way they were telling the story about the products was cool too wtih video most times featuring the inventor/developer of the product. As I looked more deeply the integration with social media was very compelling too. A new fangled way to bring undiscovered products to life leveraging the social web.
Since then I have got to know the co-founders and team. A group of “good souls” led by Jules Pieri with a single purpose. Good things happen when great teams have chemistry and are aligned around a single vision.
I have bought many products from DailyGrommet, the most recent last Friday. I am a “white board” fanatic. Some people think through powerpoint. Some people think while doodling. I think through developing concepts and pictures and flows on the whiteboard. My office does not have a big enough whiteboard. But it will this week when “Whitey Board” arrives. Another cool product coming from the curation process of discovering new products at DailyGrommet.
No wonder that today DailyGrommet is featured in the business section of the New York Times. Great story about a great idea and team. Congrats to Jules, Joanne and all the Grometeers! Read full New York Times article here.

Jeff, Thanks for being a steady supporter, advisor, and sharer of Daily Grommet. It has meant a great deal to me, from the start.
And….still have a racing heart from this article. We were lucky to have our story broken by a very talented journalist who took the time to really learn about our company and business opportunity. She understood, like you, that executing intimately and with soul, while growing big enough to make a disruptive business are not mutually exclusive. Kudos to Amy Wallace and her editor Tim O’Brien too.

So happy to see all of this come together for you and the team. Well deserved recognition for the concept and execution so far. Keep pushing. Also great to see another cool consumer company emerge in New England. Yes we can I say to the world…more folks educated here in New England making it happen right here! Bravo!
