Rachel Botsman is the co-author of the upcoming book What’s Mine Is Yours: The Rise of Collaborative Consumption (Harper Business, October 2010).  Rachel has authored this book after years of research.  Rachel was featured recenthly at TED where she spoke on the power of collaboration and sharing through current and emerging technologies, and on how it will transform business, consumerism, and the way we live.

My work at Lycos and NameMedia has given me a front row seat to the power of sharing and collaboration through the use of Internet Search, Online Communities and the emergence of Social Networking.  The transformative power of collaborative consumption was one of the key reasons that led me to join Swaptree.  Rachel prominently features Swaptree in her TED talk.  Check it out here.  Very cool.
