Cool Music Collection @ ETSY
I visited with some of my friends @ ETSY today. It was great to see Chad and Jesse. It was also very cool to see the organic work that the ETSY team has been working on in their distinctive Brooklyn offices. Check out this incredible display of LP Records on the wall behind the disk jockey set up. It is a truly authentic display that is a great example of “staying handmade @ ETSY.” Pretty cool way to bring the office together as well.
ETSY has become a powerful engine of commerce linking these creative handmade sellers with customers across the web. I think that ETSY is just getting started as well. The community is deep and growing. The concept to buy from smaller producers that have unique and quality offering is not new. ETSY has done a marvelous job to bring this community together and unite these sellers with demand in their market. It is evident in the ETSY offices that the team is highly committed to the mission. I love the work environment and approach that they are taking. A great marriage of market makers, suppliers and demand…all with the same values. Great cause. Huge movement.
