Indeed, these are the "peoples seats." key to listen and serve the constituents. work to follow the constitution. new blood at this time also brings new ideas and energy to a forlorn congress.

Thanks Ray. I am an independent minded Republican. I will vote for the best candidate though. This campaign process really bothers me as Coakley seems to think she is above the process..preordained for the role..surely not acting Senatorial as she ducks the debate. We need someone who will go to Washington and not be a rubber stamp for either party. We need someone to go to Washington with new ideas on health care. We need someone to got to Washington who is aware of the fact that it is a privilege to live in the US and that the rights of citizenship here should not be afforded to criminals who are trying to rip apart this society. Martha Coakley is on the wrong side of each of those issues from what I can tell. Because she has ducked the debates one-on-on with Scott Brown I am just interpreting this. On the other hand Scot Brown is out there trying to get his message across and seems to be an independent minded guy on the right side of these important issues. I agree Martha Coakley is unfit for serving in the US Senate. Vote for Scott Brown for US Senate in Massachusetts.

As an independent, I'm 100% in support of Scott Brown. Though I grew up in a Democrat family, the current Democrat party is not the party of my youth. Our state needs to move away from the one party situation we now have and elect people to represent us who actually listen to the people, and who are not hell bent on mortgaging not only our children's future, but our grandchildren's. Like other Democrats, Martha Coakley appears to think that she know what's best for us and is willing to continue unchecked initiating programs (e.g., the currently being "debated" [in secret] health care bill) that place our welfare in the hands of the government bureaucracy. Martha Coakley is not fit to represent our fine Commonwealth in the Senate of the United States.
