So right Jay. Monopolies in government and business are not good. Scott Brown ran a great campaign. Marcia (I mean Martha... Rep. Kennedy) Coakley ran a poor campaign. I contend that healthcare is a component of this but not the way the national media has indicated. I think it is a more local view on healthcare. In mass we have universal healthcare, 97% of the citizens have insurance, and the program is popular. We elected a Senator to represent Massachusetts today...not Oregon. Why does anyone in Massachusetts want to just go along with Obamacare to dilute our healthcare? Scott Brown was running to represent Mass in the Senate! In addition, how ironic that the Democratic candidate Coakley has acted as the "elitest" candidate too good or above the fray to engage in retail politics. I agree with you that straight up genuine values and views carry the day. Hoping for a Scott Brown victory.

Ice Hockey and Scott Brown... my kind of post. Scott Brown is truly one of the people and for the people, not a pretender, straight up genuine values, wears it on his sleeve. Even those who don't agree with all his views can appreciate that ... and will vote for him. He is not a rubber stamp like Martha.

During the summer of 08', Browns' American Idol contestant daughter Ayla performed at Payson Park in Belmont that hosts small bands for small lawn chair crowds Wed eves throughout the summer. Ayla who is a wonderful person, ended up with over 50 little kids on stage with her dancing and singing. Super Dad Scott Brown was functioning as the one man road crew and sound man. Who would have thought a guy like this would have a chance in Massachusetts... faith in mankind restored.
So that I don't jinx the election... even if Brown loses in a nail biter ( due to incredible spending spree on misleading TV spots, and the expense Air Force One) over the weekend... this election will send a strong message to National and Local Pols... be careful with that one party power ...and our money!

Vote for Scott Brown. The right choice for Massachusetts. What does one look for when hiring someone...? 3 things... 1) Competence, 2) Cultural fit and 3) Fire in the belly. Scott Brown wins in all three categories.
