TechStars Boston Plans Spring 2010 Boot Camp
I was delighted to participate in the TechStars program this past Summer as a Mentor for the program. I got to work with some great startup teams. It was also a wonderful experience collaborating and networking with so many successful entrepreneurs in the Boston community. It is great news to hear that plans for TechStars Boston 2010 are well underway.
The TechStars Boston program is happening in the Spring of 2010 – March, April, May. The deadline for Boston is January 11th at 11:59:59pm, but don’t wait because there are some special bonus happy things if you apply early. This should work just great for the entrepeneurs who are part of the program as I think they will have access to even more mentors on a conisistent basis with the program not happening in the Summer with no competition from the Cape or Lakes. I am told TechStars Boulder will take place in the Summer…hey no skiing left then right? Perfect.
If you have a great business idea and have had a goal to start a business…I can think of no better way to make this happen than to launch @ TechStars. You will receive seed funding, office space, community of other start up entrepreneurs, access to incredible experience with mentors and then the ability to pitch to angels and venture capitalists. It is really a fantastic platform!
