Recycle Electronic Gadgets @ Gazelle.Com
In the last month many of my friends and colleagues have been talking about Gazelle.com, the web site that lets you sell or recycle your old electronics and gadgets.
More and more bloggers and the press are picking up on Gazelle.com as well. Just today Fox News featured Gazelle.com. This follows similar press in The New York Times, NBC’s Today Show and more.
The Gazelle team says they want to “change the world…one cell phone, one laptop, one iPod at a time.” I love a company that has big dreams and big goals.
The Gazelle.com service is timely in that it provides cash for electronics and gadgets that might not be used, making something out of unused items in this sluggish economy. As we all look to more conscious of the environment, Gazelle.com also allows us to recycle the used electronics as well. If you want set up a fund raising drive on Gazelle.com to raise money for all sorts of causes.
Gazelle.com is working hard to expand awareness of the site through it’s marketing efforts. They are also leveraging partnership to expand as well, and the their strategic alliance with Costco is a great expansion opportunity. The Costco alliance got picked up by the Wall Street Journal.
Check out this video to see how Gazelle.com works.
You can also keep tabs on Gazelle.com by following their very informative blog.
The economy and green movement surely help, but Gazelle CEO Israel Ganot and team have done a great job to build out the site and expand it’s following. Gazelle.com is surely a “cool site.”

Knowing how to recycle used electronics not only provides benefits to you, but the planet and environment as well as people in a less fortunate situation than us. The process to recycle your used electronics has been somewhat simplified, but as of yet has not been used by as many of us as it should be, with many people still turning to landfills as a solution to ridding themselves of their used or broken electronics. This is a habit we really need to break, and by receiving a cash reward to recycle our used electronics in any condition I feel it is a habit that can be easily broken.
