Over 2 Billion iPhone Apps Downloaded

Apple Inc said on Monday that downloads from its iTunes applications store had passed 2 billion.  The number of apps has also ballooned to more than 85,000 apps available for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

It was just April that I posted about 1 billion apps dowloaded.

There are some great apps available that is for sure, such as RunKeeper, Shazam, SportsTap, Pandora, WeatherBug, Today’s Horoscopes and so many more.  The “app economy” is really accelerating.
