Runkeeper is a cool app for the iPhone and web site, I featured it recently in a post right here on this blog.  I think these Boston guys have done a great job leveraging the GPS capability, function and community building that is possible with the iPhone.

Just heard today that RunKeeper was named a Top Ten iPhone App by O’Reilly Media.  In a new book published by O’Reilly Media, Best iPhone Apps: The Guide for Discriminating Downloaders, Author Josh Clark recommends 200 of the 65,000 apps for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Runkeeper joins some heavyweights like Yelp, Twitterific, ATM Finder and others in the Top 10.
