Attended TEDxBoston

I attended TEDxBoston today.  It was nice to see several colleagues from Boston that are committed to driving images-4innovation.  It was also inspirational to see some very cool and different concepts, designs and products that are being worked on right here in Boston.  I thought the “best of the best” of TEDxBoston was:

- Smart Cities, Sustainable Urban Mobility On Demand – redefining the mobility industry that includes cars, scooters and bikes for efficiency in an urban setting.  Smart Cities is coming out of MIT Media Labs and was presented by Ryan Chin.

- Muse Trek – leveraging new technologies to expose the great works that are housed in museums to the masses.  Muse Trek was presented by Bill Jacobson.

- The Alzheimer’s Project – this debilitating disease is now the second most feared by Americans.  John Hoffman was on hand to present how he and and his HBO crew created four powerful documentaries that give hope about the disease, it’s effects and hope that we can find a cure.

- Youth Orchestra of the Americas – stirring performance.

There are an incredible amount of innovations going on in Boston right now.  Thanks to the team of Sean Belka, Danielle Duplin and Matthew Salia for hosting todays TEDxBoston event.  Look forward to future sessions to integrate more and more innovation that is happening every day right here.
