Geek.Com Reports On Twit4Hire
Startup Twit4Hire are offering a novel outsourcing service; publishing Twitter updates on behalf of those too busy to “twitter” on twitter.com for themselves.
The UK-based company offers various packages, providing different levels of microblogging activity; all designed to stimulate interest and demand in their clients’ brands, products, or services. The idea is that companies that are too busy developing and mining existing sales channels can use Twit4hire to seed products or ideas in the blogosphere via twitter, hopefully building a following of subscribers to their feed.
At first glance on this I was saying …. hmm….not sure. The more I think on it I believe this is surely valuable and there is need in the market. As a Twitter user I would be offended at a constant stream of Tweets from one source. A consistent stream of information that adds value is great though. Twitter is a very valuable part of the social media ecosystem for publishing and the audience is real. Very clever idea that we will have to keep an eye on.
