RatePoint Honored by Inc Magazine For Leadership In Reputation Management

Jump to Comments

Reputation Management is the process of:

1. Tracking an entity’s actions and others opinions about those actions;

2. Reporting on those actions and opinions;

3. Reacting to that report creating a feedback loop.

The tracking and reporting may range from word-of-mouth to statistical analysis from thousands of data points. Reputation management has always been important but it’s importance is becoming elevated in this interconnected world that we live in.

There are a number of online services that are facilitating the ratings of companies and enabling those companies to participate in a feedback loop to engage in working with their customers to resolve issues/disputes and proactively manage their reputation. Inc Magazine has taken a look at a set of descrete elements that comprise reputation management in their December 2008 edition.

RatePoint is honored in the December edition of Inc Magazine as “Best for Resolving Disputes Online.” Inc Magazine also lauded Yelp as “Best for Monitoring Your Rep”, Suggestion Box as “Best for Asking Ideas”, YackTrack as “Best Following Blog Chatter”, and SurveyMonkey as “Best for Quick Polls.”

All of these companies have become head of the class in their respective areas. I am particularly impressed with the RatePoint offering as it spans several of these categories and even more.  RatePoint is advancing rapidly with clients across the globe. I named RatePoint a JeffBenentt.Org “Cool Site” a few months back. Full disclosure I serve on the RatePoint Board. I am very impressed with the focus and execution of Neal Creighton’s team. Congrats RatePoint!
