Power.com: For Social Networking Power Users
Chances are you use at least two major social networks – 49 million people, for example, visited both MySpace and Facebook in October. Power.Com wants to be the “dashboard” that we use to interface to one or more social networks.
Power.Com has aggregated over 5 million users in the last year with most of these users outside the U.S. market. Power.Com launched in the U.S. today and got some great press across many outlets including New York Times, CNet, CIO Today, Washington Post, TechCrunch and more.
There have been many services that attempt to do some of the things Power.com is doing such as MyLifeBrand, Spokeo, Loopster, ProfileLinker and others. It will be interesting to keep tabs on how the Power.Com U.S. launch goes. Stay tuned here at JeffBennett.Org.
Power.Com investors include Esther Dyson and Draper Fisher.
