Fitchburg High School won their annual grudge match versus Leominster on Thanksgiving Day. One of the oldest rivalries in the country, Fitchburg bested Leominster in their 125th meeting by a score of 20-17 in overtime. This was only the second time in that this game was decided in overtime.

Fitchburg went onto play in the Central Mass Division 1 playoff game last night versus Shrewsbury and the Red Raiders kept their winning ways as they won 33-7 at Arthur I. Hurd Memorial Field in Ashburnham.

Fitchburg now moves onto play Longmeadow on Saturday in the Central-West Division 1 Super Bowl.
